Mackenzie Phillips Sober Coach on Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew
The Insider recently reported that actress Mackenzie Phillips will be making an appearance on Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew as the third season’s “Sober Coach.” Past Sober Coaches of Celebrity Rehab have included actors such as Gary Busey.
According to TMZ, Mackenzie Phillips entered rehab for the tenth time in September of 2008 after being busted for cocaine. Further, most of the related cocaine charges have been dropped; upon completion of a drug diversion program, the remainder will be dropped as well.
TMZ also noted that those close to Mackenzie Phillips believe, “Mackenzie has done a complete 18,” adding that Phillips herself says, “the arrest saved her life.” Fans of Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew will have to keep an eye out as there is currently no set air date for the episodes that feature Mackenzie.
Nobody can beat Gary Busey as sober coach. the guy is a mad man and I love it. I have him as the voice on my GPS even. I got it from a company that does real celebs voices as GPS. He says some crazy things while I’m driving.

sober coach. are you for real. in case nobody noticed that pimpke faced crack whore mackenzie phillips was high on oprah…check out her pupils. they say it all. you know youve hit rock bottom when you dig up your dead father, lie about him and kick him around for your next drug money. she sucks

You have the wrong picture up. That is Bijou Phillips, not Mackenzie Phillips. Also, no one knows whether the sexual abuse happened or not so it’s best not to act as though we know and judge either party.
